Khmer Music, Arts and Language Classes Underway

Click below for a schedule of Weekend classes offered by professional instructors in music, dance, and language.  An initiative of Khmer Spirit Arts Education, please contact Elizabeth Keo or Anneth Houy at 773-878-7090 for more information.  According to Khmer language instructor Pheap Chhorm, who has been offering classes since June, "we want to appeal to the public throughout Illinois to come, study and enjoy the fabulous Khmer culture and help them gain an understanding of Cambodia and its people.  We want to preserve these traditional arts for many generations to come."  Khmer Spirit Arts Education is sponsored by the Arie/Ida Crown Memorial, the Chicago Community Trust and the National Endowment for the Arts.

Donate toward our national campaign (hosted by the Chicago Community Trust) to provide education, vocational training and student scholarships for the Cambodian-American community. A contribution of $10, $20, $30 or $40 can make an enormous difference in the life of a child. Contributions are 100% tax-deductible. Our Fund's purpose is simple - to expand educational, social and employment opportunities for Cambodian-Americans.
