History & Purpose

In 2004, CAI expanded its scope with the opening of the Cambodian American Heritage Museum and Killing Fields Memorial. This one-of-a-kind institution raises awareness of the Cambodian genocide and celebrates the renewal of Cambodian community and culture here in the United States. It provides an unforgettable educational experience and offers a place for reflection, healing and celebration of the human spirit. Featured are revolving exhibits that explore the history of Cambodia, the Killing Fields genocide and the journey of Cambodian-Americans.

Donate Now!

Donate toward our national campaign (hosted by the Chicago Community Trust) to provide education, vocational training and student scholarships for the Cambodian-American community. A contribution of $10, $20, $30 or $40 can make an enormous difference in the life of a child. Contributions are 100% tax-deductible. Our Fund's purpose is simple - to expand educational, social and employment opportunities for Cambodian-Americans.
